Arnold Schwarzenegger Biography

Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger (born in Thal, Stiria, Austria, July 30, 1947, age 64 years) is an actor, bodybuilder, Republican politician, and businessman who now serves as the 38th Governor of California. He was elected on October 7, 2003 in an expedited election to replace Gray Davis from the governor's position. Schwarzenegger sworn in on November 17 to assume the remaining term of office of Davis until January 2007.

Schwarzenegger initially stateless Austria. After working briefly in the United Kingdom, he moved to the United States in 1968. Since 1983, he had double nationality (United States and Austria). He was married to Maria Shriver.
