Behind the scenes, Joseph Jackson pushed his sons to succeed. He was also reportedly known to become violent with them. Michael and his brothers spent endless hours rehearsing and polishing up their act. At first, the Jackson 5 played local gigs and built a strong following. They recorded one single on their own, "Big Boy" with the b-side "You've Changed," but it failed to generate much interest.

The French chateau-style mansion has seven bedrooms, a seven car garage and 13 bathrooms.

Located in the suburb of Holmby Hills in Los Angeles, the house has 13 working fireplaces, a theatre, a wine cellar and a gym. Adding to that is the in-built elevator which makes it easier to travel up and down the three levels.

Interested buyers will have to undergo an ‘extensive pre-qualifying check’ to tour the home, in an effort to avoid diehard fans wanting to see where the King of Pop died.

Although the price tag has lowered to over $28,000,000 Million dollars from $37,000,000 million dollars, it is also infamously the home of the king of pop Michael Jackson. This could potentially either lure or scare away big time buyers. Although Michael Jackson just renting the house for over $100,000 thousand dollars per month while he rehearshed his tour "This is It"
A lush and mature landscape surrounds the estate on approximately 1.26 acres.

The star was renting the sprawling property in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles for $100,000 (£61,000) a month.

He lived in Bahrain, Europe and Las Vegas before renting the Holmby Hills mansion where he was preparing for his upcoming concerts in London.

The King of Pop Jackson died suddenly on June 25, 2009 after suffering cardiac arrest at the home, just weeks before launching his comeback. The entertainer's personal doctor, Conrad Murray, said he discovered Jackson in his bedroom not breathing but with a faint pulse. Jackson was later declared dead at a local hospital.

After Guez recently tried to rent the property for $300,000 a month, and failed, he decided to put the house up for sale at the reduced price to offload it.
