A Builder client of mine and I recently discovered that contemporary style homes are selling well in this dismal market. He built and sold 5 homes in West Seattle this fall. They were an experiment in finding a place in the market where a builder could still make money. Happily he did. The next project like that I design will use this Cor-ten siding. The cabin above was built by a local design-build firm Build LLC. The patina that develops in the Northwest weather is totally cool.
